in concept, design, and technology this thing is bloody brilliant, but where it really takes the cakes is it's ability to be ass-shittingly terrifying. Give that thing a mechanical mouth with teeth and drool, and even the North Koreans would say, "fuck it, that's even too insane for us"

You cannot be serious. I'd like to see a remote-control car that not only can carry a burden and navigate complex terrain without human control, but can also "stumble" to prevent itself from falling (flipping itself right-side up after the fact like some cars do doesn't count).
If you knew what went into progamming and building something that does just a fraction of this, you wouldn't make such frivolous comments... then again, maybe a person like you would... |
